Sustainability

The rise of affordable fast fashion means consumers now buy more clothes, but use them for less time than ever before. We are aware of the real effect this has on our planet’s future and this is why all our pieces are designed to be timeless and versatile, extending their life-cycle and wearability for years to come.

We also have a sustainable line that is produced with ethical and sustainable materials.

LINEN

Linen is made from flax plants, a plant which grows without the need for fertilizers or pesticides. This means it is a renewable resource, one that is fast growing and can be produced without damaging the environment. It is one of the oldest, best-loved textiles in the world and has been used for centuries. The flax plant requires less water to cultivate than other textile crops like cotton, and can be grown without pesticides.

Linen is also a durable fabric, which results in environmental benefits like less waste going to landfills, and the need for fewer products, as the ones we have last for years.

ECO-FRIENDLY PACKAGING

Our packaging uses Kraft paper bags are made with biodegradable, reusable and recyclable materials. Paper bags are lighter and less energy-consuming to recycle than plastic bags. In addition, they offer ecological benefits by reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, preserving natural resources, reducing risks to animals, and reducing air, land, and water pollution.

REDUCING WASTE / RECYLING

All of our designs are produced according to strict rules with patterns cut to optimize the fabrics usage and minimize scraps. For the scraps we do have, we recyle them into a variety of accessories including scrunchies and twillys!
